We asked for your help the other day; we were having a hard time deciding which limted edition poster to print for Channel Frederator. By a hair, the feedback I got from our community (and, by the way, from our colleagues at Next New Networks chose Frank Olinsky’s hand drawn poster (the large one up above). Thanks to everyone who left comments and emailed us.

I didn’t share my personal preference, but I was leaning toward the illustration myself. For one thing, Frederator Studios had already used the sculpted Fredbot for it’s 2006 New Year’s poster. But, more importantly, it seemed to me that Channel Frederator really celebrates artists of all kind (hand drawing, sure, but also computer artists, clay, paper, whatever). And while Frank’s sculpture is hand made out of plastic cups, corrugated cardboard, straws, and tempera paints, something about the markers seemed to represent what we’re all about a little better.

As a thanks to all of you, we’ll be giving away a few posters when they’re printed a few months from now. Watch this space.
