Chill Out with Pasha Egorov
Pasha Egorov, self-taught animator and director of “3 Bananas”, tells us a little about bananas and friendship.
Channel Frederator: Where did you study animation?
Pasha Egorov: Animation I studied independently. In the beginning was engaged in flash-animation, interactive presentations and flash-films for websites. Then I began to create animation musical videos.
CF: Who or what has influenced your work the most?
PE: A desire to study a new program for me (Moho - Anime-studio)
CF: What gave you the idea for this film?
PE: The song for this video - the arrangement of a national Hawaiian song made by Russian group “Dr. Watson”. The text, in which it’s told about a journey of the poor inhabitant of the Hawaiian islands inviting all of his friends for a modest supper consisting of three bananas, had given me the idea for this video.
CF: Are you working on anything new you’d like to discuss?
PE: Now I work in the combined technics of video and animation. I try to find expressive metaphors in minimal forms.
Thanks, Pasha!
