“Gallop!”

Every once in a while, you find a book or something that makes you say “Why didn’t I think of that?”. This is that kind of book.
“Gallop!” is a book by Rufus Butler Seder. In the book, a simple mechanism makes a panel on the opposite page slide behind a series of bars, making an animation right before your eyes. It’s really hard to explain in words, so check out this video.
If you get a chance to pick up this book, do it. It’s a great addition to any animation fan’s library, regardless of your age. Duh dunt - duh!
