Matches On Fire, A Channel Frederator Featured Film!
This week Roger Gihlemoen shared his short with us called Matches on Fire. Matches on Fire is just that. Matches. On Fire. Hilarious in it’s simplicity.
Reminds me of a few drunken parties in college.
Ah youth.
Those were the days. Except, none of those parties ended up
with anyone on fire… or dead.
Hi Roger!!!
Hi!
It’s great to show off a few of my works! Thanks for putting them out there in the big world!
No Problemo friend, we try. Now let’s roll out some Q’s!
1) Where did you get the inspiration for Matches?
From my brain. The grayish part below the wobbly other stuff.
2) How long did it take you to do Matches, from start to finish?
I wanted to do lots of super short animations, and ended up doing four, matches being one of them. I guess I spent about a week or two, besides my studying. I was rather new to 3D animation, and figured matches was a gentle start, matches not being too hard to make.
Actually two of the other animations in this series, won a mtve contest. So I can’t upload it. I did this two or three years ago.
3) What’s better? The song “Firestarter” by prodigy OR “Firestarter” the movie starring young Drew BarryMore?
I have to listen and see, just wait a sec… Prodigy seem to have some anger issues… But the film! I have to see it! This is the type of film I like, so i wote for the movie, looks great!
4) What is your worst burning yourself story? Have you ever burned yourself?
I fell into the barberque when I was a little boy, but didn’t stay there for wery long, too hot!
5) What is next for you?
Currently I’m working on graphics for a new tv show in Norway, but soon I’m on to the resting grounds of 3D and animation again! (can I say resting grounds of 3D?)
Thanks for sharing this with us!
thanks for using your precious time reading my nonsense! I’ll be back!
We look forward to more shorts Roger!
