We are Nuts about Grant Garvin’s Nuts, here at the Channel Frederator camp. Some of you probably thought we were Nuts for running Nuts, but then again some of you probably thought we were Nuts long before that.
Channel Frederator got a chance to ask Grant a few Nutty Questions.

1) How long have you been animating Grant, and how long did this take you to do?
Hello Jeaux! Ive been studying Digital Animation for about 3 years and loving it! My Nuts on the other hand, took a good long week of slapping to be ready! I used Flash MX, a Graphic Tablet and a cheep microphone to complete my 2D nutty masterpiece!

2) Who are some of your influences?
“The king” Ray Harryhausen, Don Hertzfeld, Hayao Miyazaki and my good insane friend “Peter Offer” who Mr Nut was based on.

3) What sorts of nuts do you enjoy? I’m a Macadamia man myself…
Walnuts! because they taste like bananas! it’s true!

4) What do you think the Planters Peanuts man would think of this cartoon?
He has made his intention’s perfectly clear! but we still love him! <3

5) What are you working on currently?
Just finishing off my final project for Uni, “Nuts2! Rash of fire!” which will include 2D, 3D and live Action! Coming Soon to a rundown cinema near you!
