Excuseth me whislt I barfeth into ye oulde vomit-bucket of yore, it seems to me that the combination of MoCap, Angelina Jolie's already unnaturally poofy lips, and a book I had to annotate for AP English in High School is a rather justifiable cause for nausea. How many weary road trips do we have to take through the Uncanny Valley before we realize that the view stinks, the ride is bumpy, and the gas is too damn expensive?

If only we could hop into a Delorean and kidnap the Zemeckis of 1985, bring him back to the future, and show him the horrendous mistakes of his future self. Come on, Bob! You used to tell engaging stories, mixed with humor, whimsy, and smart uses of technology! When did the technology overthrow the storytelling? The world needs a naked CG Angelina Jolie like the pope needs bigger hat. For shame, Bob!

I sincerely believe that after a film-maker dies, he will be forced to watch each one of his films 1000 times by a gleeful Satan with a red-hot remote control of flames. Lets hope Zemeckis enjoys spending eternity with CG Crispin Glover as much as Lucas enjoys spending it with JarJar Binks and Howard the Duck.
