I’m curious as to how in depth the readers would like us to be? How high tech do you want us to get?

I love the Jeaux Federator charactor you did with Jeaux glasses. (^_^)
Why they couldn’t come up with the idea of “How to” years ago. I could have saved money on my daughter’s animation school. Anyway I will look forward to see Animation sensei on Tuesday.

Floyd, I think the truth is that most people that aren’t in “the know” about something like you to start out simple but get into the nitty gritty as you go along. For instance… in your case, seeing how you rig a character or do something like add fur to a character is something I would definitely tune into see. I myself plan on posting some basic modeling stuff for beginners and how to set up a basic character (with auto rigging scripts to help you). Sort of the Dummy’s Guide to 3d; of which I am admittedly a member :-). I was also going to post on some of the cheaper software out there and specifically about tablet PCs and software for them, and going digital in film making. Simple is better to start I believe. Then build upon that knowledge. Whatever you decide to share with us I am sure will be informative, especially if it’s anything like your in-depth posts here on the blog. Even though I am part of the Tuesday team I am looking forward to seeing (and learning) more from you all!

As far as the 3d/CGI goes, I know really nothing about how it works. I’d like to see from scratch how to model a character, then making them move, how to add hair and so on..

OK. Maybe I’ll do a project from start to finish and document the whole thing as part of the “How To” series. What do you think?
