Shane Glines
The art of Shane Glines was introduced to me by Jeff Nodelman, founder of Noodle Soup Studios and now a top creative force at Creative Group/ANImagic.
Jeff was enthused. And rightly so. Shane’s pinups hearken back to every era of pinup illustration. From po-mo monochromes to detailed bright-eyed post-war cuties, Shane’s art transcends any single style that most artists maintain as a comfort zone.
Plus, now he has a book of art!

Wow, it never ceases to amaze me how talented some artists are at figure drawing, and stylizing figures. What I love about his style is that he manages to mix both retro cartoon style with fully 3-dimensional shapes.
Makes me want to go to a figure drawing class right now
