Channel Frederator Featured Film, Ep. 43: “Dura Messecartoon”

A man’s life goes from bad to great when sliding doors are invented on cars. Genius!
Andre Kniepkamp of leBeat fills us in on the idea behind the cartoon:
“There is this company called Dura who invented a new system of sliding-doors for cars. The idea was to do a little cartoon to present this new system on a tradeshow for car-parts …
Usually you’ll see mostly boring hightech-3D-stuff on those tradeshows, but we all loved this slapstick Laurel & Hardy, Tom & Jerry style, so we introduced Mr. Dura who had some trouble dealing with cars–especially doors.
I tried to do a cartoon with oldschool-sounds and speed. The song is from a german singer and his orchestra, Max Raabe.
Thanks Andre and the leBeat crew!
