FredEX begins!
FredEX Begins!
Hundreds of talented animators inquired about “FredEX” a never before attempted world animation collaboration.
Twenty animators from around the world have been selected. Each Animator brings a unique animation style and vision to the project, I’m very excited to see what the end result will be.
They have until October 1st to animate the topic we have given them. The end result will be a completely original cartoon that will be premiere on the 1st Anniversary of Channel Frederator.
Here is the list of animators, in no particular order, selected to the FredEX team:

I agree with Stephen. Why isn’t he a part of this? I’ve been to his website and there’s some good stuff there. Reviewing Lee’s post it seemed the project was open to anyone who can hold a pencil. But if the plan from the beginning was name recognition - and there’s plenty of the best and brightest on the list - why the cattle call? Why not contact the A-Team from the get-go?

I doubt name recognition (or lack of it) is the reason Stephen wasn’t chosen. There is hardly a more commonly known name on animation blogs than the infamous Stephen Levinson. There are many other talented folk who missed out too.

No surprise a great many talented animators were left out in the cold. That said, I’ve been to Lee’s website and based on the animation on display it’s pretty obvious who will be the caboose on this particular talent train.
