Channel Frederator Featured Film: “Mastermind”

It’s “War of the Worlds” meets bunnies!
Says Sunil Hall, “This was my senior film at Cal Arts. The music came first. Im a big fan of Del and Dan the Automator. Thier Deltron 3030 album has lots of cool science fiction hip hop tracks, ‘Mastermind’ being one of my favorites. The film is my idea of what the songs about. (If it doesn’t make sense to you then watch it a few times. There really is a story there. Kinda.) The art was hand drawn in pencil, then scanned in to Photoshop where it was colored. A few of the backgrounds were hand painted with guache. The various layers were compiled in After Effects and edited in Premiere. It took about 8 months to complete (spread out over about 2 years). Thanks to Frederator for this great outlet for animated shorts!”
And thank you, Sunil, for without filmmakers such as yourself, Channel Frederator would not exist!
