Joanna Davidovich: “Juxtaposer”

Girl meets cat. Cat goes psycho. Girl and cat become friends! What a pair…
“One day I drew a little picture of a girl with a cat on her head and I was amused. While I was in college, we had the opportunity to make a film, so I made up a little story around that image. The story more or less fell together once I had the characters- I could see it all in my head pretty clearly. (And in case you’re wondering- yes, I do have an evil/adorable cat like that one.) The hard part was…well, making the damn thing. I was shaky in my animation skill (I had only one real animation class under my belt when I started production) and I went through a lot of awkward design revisions, and I cut corners to keep my deadline, which I missed anyway. But Juxtaposer taught me a lot- for instance- I learned that I love to make films. And not just a “oh, I love toast” kind of love. This is something I want to do. Corny, but its the truth. That’s all! Thanks!” Joanna Davidovich.
Thank YOU Joanna.
