Lee Rubenstein: “Fred & Earl”
Being our New York Frederator intern, Lee Rubenstein constantly finds himself going on egg runs for the staff–which is how he came up with the idea for “Fred & Earl”.
Okay…so that’s not really true. Here’s what Lee had to say about his film: “I’ve always had a thing for birds, even though I’ve never owned one. Fred (the chicken) is a character based on my good friend Tony, who is also the voice. Earl (the Plaid Penguin) is based on myself. It took 3 weeks to create, all animated in Flash.”
Lee, we thoroughly enjoyed your film. You are clearly more talented than I am. Thanks so much for submitting.
