I agree, the new FOPs stink. Why oh why did you people make Cosmo be so mean to Wanda? IT IS NOT FUNNY.

hi,
I tried the windows version and finally that has not worked out as well. The m4v format seems to be protected in some way. even if I rename the file into .mp4, the application answered with an error.

too bad :(

Here's the USA Today article I spoke of:

*Nickelodeon has ordered 20 more episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants.

That will make for a total of 100 adventures for the animated sea creature — or cash cow as they know him at Nickelodeon — when the new episodes finish airing in 2007.

"It just doesn't feel like we should stop yet," said Cyma Zarghami, Nickelodeon's chief executive.

Nickelodeon stopped making new episodes while the SpongeBob SquarePants feature film was in production, and there was some question at the time whether the series would start up again — then 20 episodes were ordered last year and are airing now.

It's the kid-oriented network's most popular show. Last week, for example, the 4.5 million people who watched SpongeBob on Saturday morning made it the most popular event on cable after football. Four episodes of the cartoon ranked among Nielsen Media Research's top 15 cable shows.

SpongeBob SquarePants is the most widely seen show in Nickelodeon parent MTV Networks' history; a recent deal to air it in China means it's shown in 25 different languages around the world.

It has also generated nearly $4 billion in merchandise sales since its 2000 premiere. Much of that is adult-sized; about a quarter of regular SpongeBob viewers are adults, more than double the typical Nickelodeon show, Zarghami said.*

BTW, the worst new FOP episode you guys did was "Big Wanda", in which Cosmo didn't care that his wife may have been murdered (except to wish he'd taken a life insurance policy out on her). What a wonderful joke to present to kids! Proud of that, are you?
Back to the topic at hand...

I waited to get my first iPod untill this year. I knew once it got video functionality, it would be of much more use.

Luckily, thanks to Channel Frederator, I have been having a blast, looking out for new podcasts every day. If it weren't for you guys, my iPod would be much lonelier than it is today.

thank you david, but unfortunatly I do not have a Mac but a WinXP PC. There are also a few WinXP Video Tools for the PSP but as I have tried them, noone worked for me to convert the Apple M4V Format into MP4. Vice versa is no problem! Just release them as mp4 now... :)

Just wanted to correct something - in your news release about "Refrederator", you said that "The Fairly Oddparents" is Nick's number one show. Not according to Nick. "Spongebob Squarepants" is its number one show - in ratings, quality, merchandising, entertainment value and just about anything else you can name. Perhaps the confusion on this issue is due to the fact that at one time "Fairly Oddparents" appeared to be heading towards Nick's number one spot, but then someone in Frederator decided to make Cosmo a jerk...

Hi, Rod. While quality and entertainment value are subjective, and while SpongeBob merchandise does outsell that of FOP's, Nick's highest-rated show in 2005 was The Fairly OddParents. Not that we don't love SpongeBob, of course.
