Ahhh. Nothing says “cartoon” to me like Roman horses with grossly enlarged body parts. And that’s exactly what Tim Maloney dishes out in his short, TestiklesAbout? Well…I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

So Tim, how does a guy come up with an idea for a short like this?

“Well, the answer to this question is the answer so many have given before. I have no idea whatsoever. This is just how my head works - things like this come out and I am powerless to stop myself from spending far too many hours making them into real things. I think all creation involves not being able to stop yourself from making things. Because making things is actually kind of foolish - you can barely keep yourself alive doing it (if you’re lucky) and it doesn’t exactly help you score with the chicks - unless you’re a macho abstract expressionist painter (and then you have to be an alcoholic, shoot yourself, etc.) This is not a survival skill - it’s somehow misusing your god-given time to do frivolous stuff and get a laff out of it. Which might make it holy or something.”

Nice answer, Tim. And of course, consult your doctor if you experience any symptoms remotely close to those depicted in this film.
