You don’t need no stinkin’ iPod.

Many of our animation friends are thrilled for us, but hasten to add that they don’t have a video iPod so they can’t watch.
Subscriptions are free, and I just wanted you to know you don’t need a video iPod, or even iTunes to enjoy all the episodes (#5 is coming on Tuesday). Here are three ways to get Channel Frederator:
1. You can go to our website and download it directly to your computer from the links in the lower right column.![]()
2. Subscribe and view for free directly through iTunes’ Podcast Directory. (You can download iTunes for free too, if you don’t already have it.) Every time we post a new episode it will automatically download to your computer!
3. A computer geek friend can show you how to automatically get a free subscription through our RSS feed (don’t ask me, ask your geek).
That’s it, anyone with a computer and internet connection can get Channel Frederator. Did I mention it’s a free subscription? Now go, and enjoy all our episodes.

It can take a few hours to download the necessary updates for Quicktime player and the cartoons themselves with a slow connection. I seem to live on the only street in town that doesn’t have a broad band connection. “The Bastard” cartoon was worth the 6 hour wait.

Thank you Evil Flake. That’s as nice an endorsement as we’ve ever gotten.

The video format looked a lot better than I was expecting. There were no blurry blocky effects from over compression. It was almost equal in quality to an uncompressed .mov file.
