It hasn’t been 36 hours since we’ve launched our original cartoon podcast channel, but we’re already #1 in the iTunes Arts & Entertainment category, and #17 of all the podcasts in the world. Cartoon lovers have certainly stepped up to claim their piece of the new media world.

So, after 25 years of launching networks for others, we’ve finally decided to do it for ourselves.

Welcome to Channel Frederator.

Monday morning, October 31, we’re announcing the creation of the world’s first cartoon podcast, Channel Frederator. FREE weekly episodes of submitted cartoons, for distribution on the new Apple video iPods and Sony PlayStation Portables (PSP). You can subscribe directly from the iTunes Podcast Directory, or by download or RSS (whatever that means).

We’re incredibly excited about our network, and based on what early viewers have told us, we’re hoping you will be too.
