Happy Halloween
October 30th, 2006
Hi everyone. No this isn’t art from the 6 MONSTERS project, this was a short I made for Halloween last year based on one of the first characters I designed for NICKELODEON on air. His name is PETEY PIECEMEAL and his cat is NAPOLEON BLOWNAPART. This short was animated by John Siciliano at Virtual Persuasion.
I’d love to do more spots with this little guy. Have a Happy and safe Halloween.

Stephen, to answer you last question, I used white with an airbrush set to DISSOLVE. That will give you a stippled look when you use it.

Thanks for the mention, Petey is one of the best characters I’ve ever worked with, for a ghoul he was extremely considerate, came to work on time and prepared. A real pro that always gives you his best performance, I’m surprised he doesn’t get more good roles. I wish I could say the same for the cat, but with most of his nine lives already spent he’s basically uninsurable.
