great job guys.
-jx!

Pure undiluted genius.

It reminds me of an 8-bit Nintendo game… and that’s a great thing.

BBBRRAAAAAVVVVVEEEESSSSSSSTTT WWWWWAAAAAAAARRRRRIIIIIOOOOOORRRRRRRSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DUDE!! You MUST tell me what you use to produce the 8 bit music! I’ve heard it all over the place from breakbeat/geekbeat/chiptune artists and have heard methods ranging from a special cartridge for the Gameboy (with the help of a mixing board) to a straight up app. on the computer (also with the help of a mixing board). Please good sir, tell me your secrets!!

If it helps, I’m a huge fan and will forever worship you for creating Adventure Time :)

You’d have to ask Casey, my composer. I think it was a combination of plugins for the amazing sound editing program he was using.. which I also do not know the name of. Casey’s website is http://www.officerock.com

The first time I listened to it the yelling scared me. When I listened again the yelling made me laugh. Good job!

great song.

Having seen the finished version of The Bravest Warriors, I have to say it only confirms Pen Ward as a major new talent in animated cartoons, an artist with an original style all his own. The film plays like a combination of vintage space cadet shows (Johnny Cypher In Dimension Zero, Ultra Man Johnny Sokko, etc.) as filtered through the eyes of a child - on acid.

Which, of course, I could completely relate to.

I predict great things for Mr. Ward.

Saw Bravest Warrors last week and I’m with Jerry (above). KEEP IT REAL, PEN! KEEP IT HONEST! It won’t always take you where the money is - you will find that out quick, I’m guessing - but it will keep you healthy. Both Bravest Warriors and Adventure Time have a complete tone to them and an honesty that makes everything wonderful and weird about them work. Your instincts are good, always try to collaborate with people who love what you do and watch out for the marrow suckers who “kind of appreciate” what you do. I mentioned to you at the screening that my 16 year old asked me out of the blue if I had seen some thing called “Adventure Time” which he and his absurdist internet comedy buddies had latched on to, and I can’t wait for him to see this one too. Be inspired by your results.

I don’t have cable because I’m poor but is there still some way for me too some day see Bravest Warriors? I really want to see it!

yo frank,
someday.. you will see the bravest warriors. if someone uploads it to the internet from their tv. … it won’t be uploaded anytime soon… well.. i guess.. maybe this year sometime? who knows! i don’t know.

Cool. Hey Pen, having seen Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors, if you had to choose just one to make more of, which would it be!? I mean, like would it matter a lot you think if Bravest Warriors got a lot of positive feedback like Adventure Time or do you have one that you already like more or do you even think that much about it? I think I would. I would probably have to try really hard NOT to think about maybe making a whole cartoon show, if I made cartoons. I WOULD HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE!

Hey, I’m a huge fan of Adventure Time and would love to see Bravest Warriors. How do I see it?

Pen, I gotta see it too! I mean I want to. When will the tewwwns be on the ayarrrrr???

So has this aired already on TV then?

I think I love you

It made me happy.
BRAVEST WARRIYAAAAAAHS
