If you walk around the random cartoon studio everyone has headphones on or i-tunes open. Fred has been recommending new tunes to me for the past few days, but what is everyone else listing to?

I’ve been on a steady diet of Smile by Brian Wilson, Podcast, and audio books.

Angelo only listens to Megadeth.

Who deleted my comment?

Stephen.. i saw the whole thing. we both must have been refreshing the random cartoons! blog over and over again at the same time.

what happened was the bradwurst boys posted the same blog twice! you commented on the first one. and then they must have realized their mistake. and deleted one of them. and accidentally deleted your comment! along with it!

ohhhh boy. you should write it again though.

Ahah. Well this is what it pretty much said . I wish i could be inthe studio to see the itunes and ipods. Good thing im coming up to la in july :D Hopefully I can get into the studio. What a coincidence, i just made an apple ipod commercial for channel frederator and sent it in. Hopefully it’ll make channel frederator. -Steve

I saw your ad Stephen… Came out nice!

Thankyou.

I’ve been listening to soundtracks mostly… too much singing makes it hard for me to think. Been listening to Batman soundtrack, Gladiator soundtrack, Rob Roy, Braveheart, Last Samurai; and a little bit of Greenday and Lost Prophets thrown in for good measure.

What, no Italian Operas?

The soundtrack to Batman Begins kicks ass…sadly though I do not have it here :(

Oh yeah and Pavorotti

Batman returns is better lol. Whats really good is Darkman Woe. The orchestral music .

What about Jovanotti?

Man you’re quick, Stephen! way to post within two minutes of me posting! i was refreshing the page over and over again waiting to see how fast you would respond to my response to your comment.

rocknroll,

ahahhah thats funny.

Nice story Pen, but that was no accident. I had money on how quick Steven would reply again.

AHAHAHA. Thats funny. Anyways, post some more drawings of the bradwurst!

Let’s see favorite music to work to…CAKE: PROLONGING the MAGIC, the GARDEN STATE soundtrack, the best podcast there is COVERVILLE and I’m always down for anything SMITHS or MORRISSEY.

Sorry Manny, never heard of them. -Steve

Steve, you are almost the right age for the SMITHS, it’s a high school ritual for us painfully artistic types to listen to stuff like that at some point. The CURE, Depeche Mode….THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS rule too!

Yea, they might be giants is really good!

I LOVE CAKE!!!!

The band. AND the food

Manny I think we have the same record collection. I must have seen TMBG at least 20 times in high school/college. How is the new Morrissey?

The Garden State soundtrack rocks, but then I guess I like it because I am from the Garden State!

New Morrissey is pretty good. More sophisticated musically, like YOUR ARE THE QUARRY. There’s a whole song about him finally discovering the joys of sex after 46 years. Where have you been Mozzer? That is like the best reason for living. I live in the GARDEN STATE and that soundtrack and movie just flat out rocks! And CAKE the food and the band are amazing! Any die hard Morrissey fans should check out THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING MORRISSEY, it’s a region encoded DVD, but someone posted it in 4 chapters on YOU TUBE! Here is the link….http://youtube.com/results?search=morrissey+importance&search_type=search_videos&search=Search

I think iPods are overpriced. Streaming radio is where it’s at. Check out FM 94.9 out of San Diego:

Do you know it only takes about $30 to make an ipod?

Ohhhh…The Garden State soundrack has an awesome cover of “Such Great Heights” by The Postal Service (covered by Iron and Wine)…I think we are using it for our first dance song..though my fiance is troubled by the fact that it has turned up in an “M&M” commercial…Right now I am into the new Neko Case, the new Flaminig Lips, and the new Stellastar cds…

My ears have been getting a healthy dose of Pavement, early Johnny Cash, and Ennio Morricone soundtrack work.

No wonder you guys don’t listen to my posts.

Check out Gnarls Barkley. “Crazy” is the bomb!
