WAY COOL! The Specter voice sounds AWESOME!! Who is that? Also, the monkey’s crack me UP…The boards are hilarious. Cannot wait to see the full animation!!!

Specter’s voice almost sound the same as Specter’s voice actor: Charlie in Ape Escape 3. Jimmy sounds like Nelson, compare to him with his voice in Ape Escape 2 sounding like Ash Ketchum.

This hardly feels Ape Escapish at all, and isn’t Ape Escape pretty much dead in the US anyways? The last four games haven’t been released here…

Yeah…I guess Ape Escape strives better in Asia than the rest of the world. It’s never going to come to us, thanks to our Playstation critics who can’t appericiate the work they put in, and the Playstation consoles losing to Wii and 360.

The new Specter sounds British to me - and that’s what’s COOL about him. He’s not petulant at all, but a coniving meglamaniac kid. I’m glad he sounds nothing like the old Specter. Ape Escape needed a new take anyway…It’s been dead in the US for ages and obvious why…Same old, same old…zzzzzz…boring…This new take is Fresh, Funny and makes it embarrassing to listen to the old!!! LONG LIVE THE NEW SPECTER!!!!

Japan and the rest of Asia are getting the latest Ape Escape stuff, and we North Americans aren’t getting any…

I mean come on, this is old stuff! Ape Escape: Saru Saru Big Mission is now the latest Ape Escape game for the PSP. The Japanese are WAY AHEAD OF YOU GUYS!

Specter deserves something better! SPECTER IS EVIL!! I mean in the Japanese anime of Ape Escape, Specter gets an AWESOME OUTFIT! HE GETS A LAIR IN OUTER SPACE THAT LOOKS LIKE HIS HEAD! HE CAN SHOOT LIGHTING FROM HIS HANDS! HE ONCE ALMOST TURN THE HUMAN POPULATION INTO MONKEYS, AND HE ONCE MADE THE SUN DISAPPEAR IN THE LAST EPISODE!

I actually think these are rather cute. Calm down guys; there’s no need to overreact.

I rather enjoyed watching these little clips, and I’m happy to see that people actually the time out to MAKE animations for such an under-appreciated series.

Come to think of it. You do got a point. It’s nice of them to make a cartoon for the Ape Escape franchise for Sony. But it’s just that there are some adjustments that needed to be added. I mean, if there’s going to be a cartoon based on Ape Escape 2, it should follow the plot. Japan already did Ape Escape 3, Million Monkeys, Piposaru Racer and Saru Saru big Mission in their anime, they added Kohta and Natalie and Jake’s love relationship to make it more interesting! If Nick is going to do the same thing as what XEBEC did for Ape Escape, they are going to need to put as much effort as the Japanese, and make the cartoon as interesting as the anime made in Japan.

This show looks like it’s going to be AWESOME! Why not STOP complaining about how Asia is getting the latest…zzzz….WHO CARES! We’re not in Asia and this Ape Escape is the first taste most American’s will be getting. These are just the first few ’shorts’ so let’s how there’s a series coming next!! Specter sounds like he’s gonna be great fun. LOVE the choice of voice! (That’s an english accent right?) and the monkeys are just Hillarious. As the old saying goes, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!”

I have to agree with you that it would be the first taste they will get…since they havn’t got the taste of it for years, ever since Academy got a terrible review, and hardly any Ape Escape game comes from Asia to the states. but why aren’t there any monkey-catching action in it? Monkey-catching is the main purpose in Ape Escape. Shouldn’t Kei or Yumi be included, the Ape Escape 2 cast is a bit too old. It’s like almost 6 years ago, almost old school.

I heard that there’s a new Ape Escape game coming out in 2008 for the PSP called “Ape Escape: The Record of Piposaru War”, and a sequel to Ape Escape 3 is released, but it never came. Ape Escape now has a racing game on its own, a better sequel to Academy, but it never came to us. I guess Sony of Japan got pissed off with us, that they don’t want to give us anything…Ape Escape 3 was their last gift to us…
