We started our first Story Session on August 6th for Ape Escape, bringing in some very talented artist/writers to help create the first 10 cartoons! Above are the first storyboards based on one of my scripts by Storyboard Supervisor, Character Designer, and really funny guy: Karl Toerge !

Since there wasn’t a photo of me from the meeting, here’s a one of me,
Mike Gray
(Script Editor & Head Writer), with Jeff Smith (creator of Bone) at Comic-Con 2007 (“researching” for Ape Escape, of course…)!

Is this gonna be 2D or 3D?

It will be done in Flash (2D), although there is a slim hope among us that we will hopefully have a chance to do a few live action!

These shorts are gonna ROCK!!! :D

How long is each episode going to be? I hope it will be as good as the Ape Escape ~On Air~ anime.

There are 38 two-minute shorts. Our third round of storyboard artists - some old, some new - are about to get busy on their boards. We hope you’ll like them, Satoru003

2 minutes? I see. Oh well, as long as they are humorous I am fine.

If you’re interested about the Ape Escape anime tv show made in Japan, I can give you the link to the episodes. It started since April 2006, and it is about to finish up its series finale episode this weekend.

The anime is based on Ape Escape 3, and three other games that never got outside Japan, which you never heard before: Ape Escape Million Monkeys, Piposaru Racer, and Saru Saru Big Mission.

Basically, what the main plot of the show? just curious.

si queremos saber espero que no sea peor que ukki white
