Dear Pen,

I love your Adventure Time cartoon, and I can’t wait until they become full episodes on Cartoon Network. Of course I’ll probably have to wait longer than that since I can’t get cartoon network up here in Canada so I miss all my favorite shows, like Adventure Time and the Misadventure of Flapjack (since they pulled it off the air from Teletoon) *shakes fist*.
But I love the artwork from your show (and others such as the bravest warriors) and I often frequent the frederator blog just to keep up. I also love Natasha Allegri’s work too, ever since I found her webcomics a few years ago, so please tell her she’s wonderful.

Dear Pen,

I am Paula Te. My friends and I live in a dorm at college. We can paint whatever we want on the walls of this dorm. So we decided to paint a mural of a scene from Adventure Time. (We love your animated short. It’s so mathematical.)

“I was at work on Friday waiting for one of our iPhone games to compile, so I whipped up at little AT fan art. After having lunch with Phil & the design crew, I was blown away by what they’re doing over there in the design dept. I saw one of the animation tests and it looked really good too. I’m excited to see the show.

“These characters would be fun as hell to animate for a Flash or iPhone game or something.

“Anyways, hope you enjoy. :)”

I’m sure you get a ton of e-mails and are really busy, so I’ll try not to take up to much of your time. Back on Halloween (a LONG time ago) my friend and I were Pen and Jake and I just got the pictures from her. Thought you might like to see ‘em.

Also, I’m a senior in high school going into Character animation next year at either CALARTS or LMU LA. I justed wanted to let you know that you’re a big inspiration for me. I find you’re work very funny, but also very genuine, from Bueno the Bear, to Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors. Thanks for being such an awesome animator.
